This will go in combo with my movie of the day today. Of course this is Journey's song that was in Vision Quest. WEll placed in the film in my opinion. It is amazing what a song can do for a film. Anything by Journey is all right by me. This song just popped into my head today and I thought well I will make it my song of the day today.
I have to say that my only connection with this song is Vision Quest and Journey's greatest hits. It is the kind of song that makes you feel like you have triumphed something big, just like Louden did in Vision Quest.
Do you guys have any memories of this song?

I have all kinds of great memories to anything by Journey. They are one of the best bands ever, in my book. And this song is definately an uplifting song...that makes you feel like you can do anything.
I do think of him running at the beginning of Vision Quest, but then that reminds me of when I ran in track and cross country in high school, and had to run at practices after school all the time, so I like when a song and a movie make you invision your own memories that are similiar to what they were showing you on the screen.

The group Scandal with Patty Smythe has also done a version of that song. It appeared on the same album as their hit "The Warrior" came out.

Journey makes me laugh, but I still dig Don't Stop Believin' and Wheel In The Sky. Dream Theater did a sweet cover of Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin', too.

I saw Dream Theater with Yes. Dream Theater was terrible. My opinion only. Maybe it was a bad day. I love only the young. Great song. Vision Quest, great movie. Change by John Waite, better song.

I love that whole soundtrack...one of my favorite movies. Lunatic Fringe by Red Rider is outstanding.
