I’ve been listening to Rookie, Dirty Honey, Greta Van Fleet, and Crown Lands. They each have a 70’s, 80’s, early 90’s vibe. I saw Rookie open up for Cheap Trick. Great sounding band!

One of my favorite bands is The Sounds. Very new wave sounding. Check them out!

One of my favorites is "Hurt You". It sounds very '80s.

Tony Lewis from The Outfield, who died recently, had a solo album a couple years ago. I heard it the other day and was impressed. Check it out!

I think the song "Blinding Light" by The Weeknd sounds new wave '80s.

There's a lot of great bands over the past 20 years that are what's called New Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal, it's a continuance of The New Wave Of British Heavy Metal.

The Birthday Massacre have been making New Retrowave music since they started in the early 2000's. So they're not really a new band at all. But they are still going strong, and they are definitely one of my favorites in this genre.
This track off their latest album 'Fascination' is a good example of just how 80's retrowave they can get.
