Well, just an update on the 80's crusade. Duckie and I had the pleasure of going to see The Psychadelic Furs last week.....and they.......were.........AWESOME.
Richard Butler sounded the same, he could have been miming he was that spot on. He had loads of energy and danced around like a man half his age. The songs really stood the test of time and everyone smiling and singing from start to finish.
The next day I had to watch The Wedding Singer so I could prove to the Duck that 'Love my way' really was on the soundtrack.....it is.....TWICE!!!!
I would mention that he went to see A flock of Seagulls the week before...but I am way too jealous for that
Anyone else get the chance to see the mighty furs play?

I know what you mean, EA. They still sound great and put on a good show. I saw them last in 2008, and it was a blast. It was an outdoor summer show with the sun setting.

Anyone else enjoying the fact that a guy named Duckie attended the Psychedelic Furs concert?
This is a pic from the Chicago Psychedelic Furs concert back in June 2010. As Earth Angel mentioned, Richard Butler will impress you with his ability to still make magic happen with his voice. During the Chicago concert a girl threw red roses on stage and he was cool enough to pick them up and put them on his mic stand all while singing the tune "The Ghost In You"..

you can really tell how magnificent this band is just by listening to their greatest hits comp, "all of this and nothing". there is no filler on that at all.
