That song came out way back in the early 1980's, so I'm curious why it's taken this long for the lawsuit to come up. Well, I think I know the answer already: Greed and money!

I think they owe 5% of the royalties. That should be a lot of moolah, maybe we will get a reunion/bankruptcy tour out of it.

The original composer died, someone bought the rights and then sued. It's all about money. 'Down Under' is a classic.

I have never compared the songs, so I don't know anything - but if it's gone on this long, I say let it be.
For now, all they are getting is 5% of royalties since 2002. So at least it's not retro to 1982, which would have been ridiculous.
