They had a number of singles releases in the UK that charted, although none so high as Shattered Dreams. In addition, their debut album, Turn Back The Clock, topped the UK album charts. However, only two singles (Shattered Dreams and I Don't Want to Be A Hero) were released in the US.

In the UK 'Turn Back the Clock' (my fave) and 'Heart of Gold' were hits (along with 'Shattered Dreams' and 'I Don't Want to be a Hero'). They all came from the same # 1 album.

In the U.S. "Shattered Dreams" got to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and "I Don't Want to Be a Hero" peaked at #31. "Turn Back the Clock" missed the Top 40, but it was a Top 5 Adult Contemporary hit. The rather appropriately titled "Shattered Dreams" was blocked from the coveted #1 spot first for one week by Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine's "Anything for You" and then for three weeks by George Michael's "One More Try".
