I thought it was kick azz. We're actually goin to see Mastodon: here in NC in May. We got to go backstage to meet the band last year. Great group of guys who hadn't let the fame get into their heads!

Foo Fighters self-titled debut album. This was Grohl's post-Nirvana project that he worked on while still in Nirvana. My fave among all Foo Fighter albums. It has that gritty feeling to it that it seems all albums after it have lacked.......

I thought Strange and Beautiful had a few good tracks. I don't have Astronomica. I'm going to download it later though!

Excellent choice there my friend. Shogun helps bury the mistake that was The Crusade.

Jill's new album, The California Years, is released this week. I've preordered my copy, it should be here early next week by airmail. I'm so excited!!!! I helped contribute to the making of this album - Jill was dropped by 2 major labels, and the 2 indie labels she signed with went bankrupt. So, she turned to her fans, who raised $89K to help create the album.
Underdog Victorious features Jill's usual story telling style, with songs about the first time she got high at a battle of the bands; a couple who give up cocaine and their marriage; Joey Heatherton; a girl working as a hooker in Tel Aviv...
