This is a great record that has a good mix of traditional Japanese pop and Darkwave & Classical influence. If you're not a fan of Japanese music then this probably won't interest you. But, if you are, then I recommend giving it a listen. I immediately ordered it after hearing these 2 particular songs:

Great Pic Atomik! New Nightwish is great! Tuomas is a musical visionary and he just seems to get better with each new album. So, even though I am a fan of the new records, I'm hard-pressed to say I personally still prefer the old Tarja days of Nightwish over the new stuff. And with that being said, my album of the week shall be...
Nightwish: Oceanborn (1998)
This is the first Nightwish album I listened to all the way through. So it comes as no surprise that it's my favorite, and still their best..IMO, ("Once" ranks in a very close second). Tarja Turunen's angelic voice shines through brilliantly on this album. Combine that with some very nice punchy guitar riffs, (something I think that newer Nightwish records are sadly lacking), and you've got an album of epic win from beginning to end, no other way to put it. A "MUST HAVE" for any true Nightwish fan.

that's a nice looking comp, especially killing joke, new model army, PIL, SLF, & the cramps. and that's an odd morrissey song to pick for this comp.

I also own all Nightwish albums except Angels Fall First. The old albums are good but i have to say that i like this new style with Anette a little better. Now let´s just enjoy the new album and wait for the movie.

Gotta go back to my metal roots with a good record from a Great Kick A$$ band this week..nothing really more to say...Perfect for any true Metal Militian..Play it Loud!!\m/
35+ years old, and this album is still one of the most epic Heavy Metal/Hard Rock records ever. Including what is still hailed by many as one of the most epic Hard Rock Anthems ever written:
This song easily proves why Ronnie James Dio was one of the greatest vocalists in metal history, R.I.P.! Combine that with the Awesome out-of-this-world guitaring of Richie Blackmore, and you've got a classic here that will never die!\m/
