Wow, guess what, like I didn't already know this was coming- Whitesnake has skipped over Pittsburgh again! WTF? Reb Beach, one of their guitarists, is from Pittsburgh. Last time they played here, which was 5 years ago, he got all of the backstage passes he could get his hands on for friends and family- 60 total! The show was packed. Why do all of the good rock shows skip over us? Country music is alive and flourishing here though, for what reason I don't know other than W. Virginia is literally about a 10 minute drive over the border from the Star Lake Amphitheater. Even at the rock shows, you see aplenty of redneck hillbillies drinking their Pabst Blue ribbon while riding on top of the hoods of their cars into the lot, plus waving their rebel flags. Oh, BTW, Buffalogirl, if you are reading this, Whitesnake is appearing somewhere in the Finger Lakes Region- I think it is Canandaiga, NY.

Well, I went to this show last Tuesday night and it was a bad a$$ concert like I knew it would be! Killswitch put on the best show I thought with Chimaira coming in a close second. They were all awesome though and I would go again to see them all live.
BTW....ringing in ears + hang over = great night.

Anybody that has any interest in Rock music at all should at least give these guys a listen, then go see them live.
