Little Wing Castles made of Sand Are you experienced
So many good songs, I could go on and on. I still wonder what he would have been like if he lived longer. Like what would he have done in the 80's? The possibilities are endless.

Prince was the nearest thing we got to Jimi in the 80's....

I'm sure there would have been a Jimi/Prince collab had he lived in the 80's. Didn't Jimi pioneer the love of all things purple? I guess Lenny Kravitz was influenced by Hendrix too. Mr. Cab Driver was like his response to Crosstown traffic, and are you gooing to go my way was so obvious. I have about 4-5 hendrix DVD's and his playing is still just so amazing. Stuff like Machine Gun from Band of Gypsys, the national anthem from Woodstock, just boggles the mind how good he was.
I remember in the early 90's, a canadian artist came on the scene that was clearly Hendrix-influenced. Bowie had some interest too in him being his guitarist.
