Eddie Van Halen has a guitar solo in Beat it, and he is actually in the video. I never knew that. My son told me that. I need to watch the video again to see him...my son said you see him for about 5 seconds....but that is pretty cool.

There's also a song on the Thriller album that Janet sang back up vocals...I can't remember which one. Apparently, they started with three back up singers, but ended up cutting the others out....

It was Michael Jackson who also convinced Queen to release Another One Bites a Dust as a single which they were reluctant to do. Turned out to have massive crossover success with it being #1 on the pop and R&B charts.

i knew about PYT and the eddie val halen solo..but i also read that freddy mercury and michael jackson recorded songs together that were never released. i don't know if it's true or not though.

"State of Shock" was co-written by both of them. I think when Michael decided to record/release this Freddie was too busy, so he asked Mick Jagger instead.
