Anyone else like this song? I think I always liked it cuz when it came out I liked metal...and, lets face it, this was the closest to "metal" MICHAEL JACKSON was ever gonna get!
If memeory serves BILLY IDOL's guitarist STEVE STEVENS (who I have always loved) played the guitar on this. Yes?

MJ could have done more that just this track, but seemed to shy away - as evidence, I gove you Alien Ant Farm's version of Smooth Criminal. Much better than his version.

The funny thing here is for YEARS me and my sister thought MICHAEL JACKSON was singing "Eddie Are You Okay?" -instead of "Annie Are You Okay"? Only when the ALIEN ART FARM version come out did we think to look up the lyrics...I dont think I even KNEW what the song was about til then. Really grim and dark for a MICHAEL JACKSON song! And still---great to dance to!

Wasn't the guitarist for MJ on this track Jennifer Batten? I can't remember. THis was one of MJ's strongest songs post-Thriller IMO. Janet also had a metal/hard rock moment with Black Cat. That Alien Ant Farm track is garbage, also I remember Pennywise dissing them, they got thrown off the Warped Tour for being divas.

I have always loved most of Michael Jackson's stuff...especially in the 70s and early 80s. I can't help it that he was such a weirdo. There's no denying he can sing.
Would not want to have the man over for dinner, mind you, but I love to hear his '70s and '80s music and watch him dance in his videos (I was never a big fan of his '90s or '00s stuff though)

Wasnt SHERYL CROW his guitar player for awhile? I could have sworn that I read an article with her where she was saying they wanted her to act like they were in a relationship and she was like "oh please"!

I just wish that there could have been an X-men movie in the 80's and Jacko would have starred as Nightcrawler!

That is too cool. I used to have a VHS tape/documentary which had a feature on her. She was flat out brilliant with her playing style.

So, the guitarist in the video is a woman? That's nice to know that he wasn't shoving his "body" in a man's face. All I can see in the video is a ton of hair.

Do you think all that is pre planned? Or that when he gets out there...he just becomes over come with "whatever", and starts ripping his clothes off, and grabbing himself, and rubbing all over anything that walks by?
Can you imagine if you didn't know all that was coming...and your out there playing guitar, and get molested right on stage in front of everyone.

I'm still a big Michael Jackson fan, so i like his version of Dirty Diana better...don't like too much after his Bad album though. Didn't Slash play the guitar in this one? or was it a differnet song he did? I continue to love the Thriller album...but...wouldn't let Mikey babysit my kid!
