My son said he was liking this band, and he thought they were a new group, so he thought...wow cool...he might actually like a new group...he was telling my brother about them...and my brother said...they are from the late 80's. I never heard of them.

Dream Theater has never been a singles oriented band they're more album oriented. I'm not overly familliar with their music I do know that I really like "Pull Me Under" by them

That's the song my son likes. He also likes a song called "Metropolis". He likes their new songs "Constant Motion and "Panic Attack".

Bought the debut lp "When Dream and Day Unite" (1989) in early 90s and their masterpiece "Images and Words" (1992) right after it was released.
Still makes some good music but after the original keyboardist Kevin Moore left, the band hasn´t been quite the same...
