Very sunny tune. Believe it or not I got Scritti's earliest recordings on CD a few years ago and it sounds nothing like Perfect Way. It's dark, murky, post-punk. I can't believe it's the same guy.
What is the group who had a song on the Loverboy sndtrck? It was called the World don't need another lover, sounded a lot like Perfect Way.

According to IMDB that song from LOVERBOY is by GIANT STEPS.
I used to have Perfect Way on 45 (Im sure ISIS still DOES!) but now I have it on a compilation cd called LIVING IN OBLIVION. Everytime I hear it I wonder why SCRITTI POLITTI never had any other big hits.

There was a new Scritti Politti album released last year. I heard it got some good reviews. Don't have it yet though.
