Pretty good matchup, funny in the Heaven 17 song the girl soul singer kind of steals the show on that song. My pick is with New Order as I think it's one of the best dance songs of the 80's. A real euphoric feel.

I definitely pick New Order. The squealing woman’s voice in the other song makes it unbearable to listen to (for me).

Anyone heard Beth Ditto(of the Gossip) and Jarvis ****er's version of the Heaven 17 song at the NME awards? I will see if ai can find the footage.

The original "Temptation" by New Order is superior to the Heaven 17 version, but both are great songs. I remember that both versions were on the incredible "Trainspotting" film soundtrack (1996); both the movie & the soundtrack were '80's throw-backs to some extent.

Yeah, New Order easily for me too. Never really cared for the Heaven 17 song. Well, that is not until Cradle of Filth metalized it with their cover in 2006...
