Cherish by Kool & The Gang versus Cherish by Madonna!

Both videos have mermaids in them. They both take place on a beach. I wonder if Madonna stole the idea from Kool & The Gang.

This is a tough one. Both are 80s classics, a classic ballad and a great uptempo pop song, it's hard to choose. I'll have to give both a few food listens.

I like Madonna's 1989 "Cherish" better rather than Kool and the Gang's 1985 one because I never listened to it.
