Never even heard of this band in the eighties but thanks to the VH1 show "Bands Reunited" I found out who they were.

This is a great song, I wasn't too aware of this group until I watched the Rodney B OF KROQ biopic movie the King of Sunset Strip a few years ago. Rodney eposed this group and countelss others on his radio show, the guys from Dramarama, who are from Jersey were just regular guys stunned that he gave them national exposure.

dramarama were a great band, and jersey guys too, even though they got their fame in cali. i would suggest picking up their first couple of albums.
"will work for food" was their best song.

I just was on LIVE NATION looking at what bands are playing near me and DRAMARAMA is. I smiled...but then I thought "What did they sing other than Anything Anything?" Hahaha I got my best friend their Greatest Hits cd. Maybe I should ask him.

I've heard of the band's name, but never heard their music.
Rodney Bingenheimer gave a lot of bands and singers --- who later became big in the late-70's and early-80's --- their first big break and radio exposure. And he played whatever songs or artists he wanted to play. Nowadays, that kind of radio DJ is nearly extinct.
For those reasons...In my opinion, Rodney Bingenheimer deserves to be in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
