Ok, I heard this song in a store and it sounded so familiar, I could make out the intro lyrics being "Burn the Disco", and then he says the chorus which is Danger,Danger. I could have sworn I heard it before. The voice sounded crazy like Danny Elfman or Was Not Was. Any clue?

Could it be "Panic" by Morrissey, formerly of The Smiths?

The word "danger" is not part of the lyrics, but the phrase "hang the blessed DJ" is.
