I agree maybe I'll bring up some good issues about the karate kid but... it seems that there is only so much one can talk about when it comes to one film.

Yeah if only we could get what they have at the BTTF or Friday the 13th board: 5,000 members and a new post every 13 seconds.

well, a post every 13 seconds might be a bit much, but a few more active memberes would rock.

I check in once a week or so, but there's never any worth while threads to post on..
I think once there is a serious update, like a KKIII section to the site or when this special 2004 DVD release happens [if it happens] there'll be more activeness in here

I looked at this topic and surely want to post something. Hi everyone, i just registered as a new member. And yes,..i feel the same way, my friend just stared at me when i told them im the big fan of Karate Kid. their eyes went like:"What happen to The Last Samurai??" Well, maybe we should add something about Karate Kid III here. put more pictures so when people search about karate kid there will be more interesting pictures found. or, can somebody get special interview with Ralph Macchio or Pat Morita themselves?

Yeah, a new update might spark some new interest. The idea of adding KK3 would help. There's not a lot of stuff that can be updated on the first two films, but we do definetelly need the third KK. Anyway, that is my two cents. Later

Didnt someone say that they saw Elisabeth Shue on Conan a few years back bad-mouthing Ralph Macchio? If anyone knows any specifics about this, or where I can see the video or read the transcript,or if it's even true, it would be a big help. Thanks

I am a new member as well and I love The Karate Kid.I came on here because it is hard to find other people who are interested in eighties movies-particularly this one. Some people just don't see how great these movies really are.I think adding KK3 would be a good idea and the main thing is to keep up what is already here.Don't give up.

Yeah, I was the one with the Liz Shue stuff from Conan, unfort. I didn't tape it or anything. This was around 93 or 94. Conan was great about asking 80s people about their 80s flicks. He asked Shue about KK and Mia Sara about Ferris Bueller, to which she blushed and went "Oh my God that was like ten years ago!". Yikes, in just two years Ferris Buellers Day Off will be 20 years old
