In the vanished scenes section of this website it states that the scenes shown in the Columbia memo were excised before shooting began.
But, according to filming dates, this would actually be incorrect, would it not?
The memo reads, "Scenes omitted from The Karate Kid as of 11-28-83" however, this would have been 3 days AFTER filming ended, so they were probably filmed.
Damn, but would I love to see all of theses scenes along the infamous ones we already know for sure were filmed.
Do you think we may see them if a new special edition is produced to coincide with the remake next year? haha
