I was just googling to see if I could find some news on the upcoming remake, and stumbled across some interresting news. It seems that back in 2004,there was a documentary made, named The way of the karate kid, with interwiews with the original casting. I read that both Pat and Ralph are discussing the film in this one. I wanted to download this off course, but ran into a problem. I cant seem to find it anywhere,at least not for downloading. Does anyone know anything about this documentary and better yet, does anyone know where I can obtain a copy or download this one??? Any answer would mean alot to me.

It's the 'making of' documentary that was created for the special edition DVD back in 2004. That's the only place to find it, unless you find a copy online of course. But there's also a great commentary track on that DVD also. You should definitely pick up a copy...for the commentary and doc alone.

Well,I had to order that one from amazon. There isnt one store in this town that has it. And on top of that,I was running late for training,so I was dressed in a sweater and my gi underneath, luckily without the belt tied. The clerk asked me how I find time to sit down and watch these movies as I seem to be in constant training.I just sent him my biggest smile ever and said, thats the price we pay to remain on top lol lol lol. Thanks for the info Kinick, hope to find a way to share that documentary with you all if you havent already got it.

No problem, man. Be sure to check out the audio commentary too, if you have time in between your training etc. ;-) It's a hilarious listen with some great info and anecdotes throughout.

lol lol lol,Ill find the time. I just work superhard now to be able to get my 3rd dan in 5 weeks time. In addtiton to that I also train Tae kwon do,so my schedule is full on a weekly basis. Ill calm it down a bit after graduation:-> Then push it to the max before next graduation lol lol. Thats just how I do things, the more intense the training is,the more focused I get on reaching the goals set for myself. But I will most definately find the time for my favourite karate men,Miyagi-san and Daniel-san:-> Thanks for all the help Kinick. You wouldnt happen to know of an other place than piratebay where I can download a few other of Ralphs movies would you? Im trying to download Up the academy, but the seeding ovder there sucks, its been on a standstill all day.

The documentary your looking for can be found on U.S release Special Edition Karate Kid. I'm sure you can order it via AMAZON.com.

Thanks for the reply.I have already orderd and recieved my copy of this movie, and had a fantastic time seeing it with the comments.Man,Ralph got that cool ford still,he bought it after the movies were done.As well as the trophy and the headbands. No doubt about it,we need a kk 5 with Ralph in the leading role as Daniel LaRusso. He already has most of the props,so he should have the role for that purpose only.
