I read that Andrew Shue was in KK. His biography lists that he appeared in KK as a competitor. Does anyone recall seeing him. If so, did he fight Daniel? Are there any pictures of him in the movie?

Yes. He one hundred percent is in the film. He's a Cobra Kai, but only in the tournament scenes. He can be seen in the background of a few shots.
I had a raging debate about this with a friend a few years ago. The debate ended when a friend of mine was auditing his company(some charity?) and she called me. I begged her to ask him, and she did.

You can also find Andrew Shue in the wedding scene near the end of the movie "C.ocktail". Look closely in the background as Elisabeth Shue and Tom Cruise are dancing in the circle of people.

Did anyone ever see Andrew Shue in a fight scene? I heard he studied karate and was pretty good.

I always heard that soccer was his real game. Andrew Shue actually played for the LA Galaxy for awhile.
