This soundtrack, though it may be a favorite score to many as it is very much for me, will never be released as a soundtrack disc because (according to online sources) the music track from the film was damaged during the transfer to DVD.

But I have recently discovered that Dave Grusin had continued his beautiful motifs from "My Bodyguard" in his next film,"On Golden Pond" and that HAS been given an official release.
