The movie, as scripted, was originally set in a Spielberg style suburban area. The filmmakers changed the setting to the remote trailer park to differentiate themselves and their movie.Rewind Archive
Wil Wheaton originally had a part in the Last Starfighter but his scenes were cut before release. Too bad for Will, but he does have the "Star Trek" fame as "Wesley Crusher".Thanks to Doug Koehler
