Lifetime Televison's version omits a few scenes for time and content including: Lisa and her mother discussing the popularity of the restaurant before they are seated. An emotional conversation between Lisa and Wendy's family in which the subject of Lisa'a grandparents is brought up. The struggle with Richard is shortened.
