The crew had to deal with hatching baby turtles as the beach is a breading ground for the little guys.Thanks to Mike Reilly
Bernie's beach house was built on the agreement that it would be taken down and the beach would return to it's orginal state. This is because of the turtles that are found there.Thanks to Belch
Andrew McCarthy first read the script for the part of Richard, but as he read it, he loved Larry's character and so chose to play him instead.Thanks to Belch

The orginal "Weekend At Bernies" had Larry in the bedroom with a lady. The scene had to be deleted for the home video version because in the sequel, in order to save Richard's life, the witch doctor needed blood from a virgin and used Larry's.
