The University of Zurich exterior is Loyola High School, located at 1901 Venice Boulevard in Los Angeles. The interiors were split between two locations. The corridor scene was filmed in the Kerckhoff Laboratory building at Caltech University in Pasadena. The lab itself was filmed in one of the buildings at the Sepulveda VA Campus in North Hills.
The Miskatonic Medical School exterior is the James W. Wadsworth Building (West Los Angeles VA Campus), located at 11301 Wilshire Boulevard. Some interiors were filmed at the now demolished Pacoima Memorial Hospital in Lake View Terrace. The morgue area was a set built at S&A Studios (now Occidental Studios).
Dan Cain's house is located at 2238 Canyon Drive in Los Angeles. The interior was also used for filming.
The Halsey house is located at 405 South Irving Boulevard in Los Angeles. Only the exterior was used for filming, the interior location is currently unknown. [Thanks to PaulH]
