Every scene that they tried to make you think was Chicago was in Los Angeles. The bridges he drives past where he meets the blind girl and where she is killed are beneath the LA River bridges. The flat land where he is driving is probably out near Fresno or Bakersfield. It is the sun that tells me it is in California, California sun has a distinct tome to it and casts a particular shadow such as when he picks up accordionman. [Thanks to Aaron Pierce]
