The Howling Filming Locations:
The campfire scene when they first arrive at "The Colony" was filmed at Paradise Cove next to Zuma Beach in Malibu, Ca. [Thanks to Jeff]
Outside forest shots were filmed in Mendocino County, Ca. [Thanks to Michael]
The Howling was shot in part at the Mendocino Woodlands. The run through the Redwood forest that ends in a rustic cabin was shoot in our Camp Two Gate House. [Thanks to Don Taylor]
Filming also took place in the redwood forests of Lake Sherwood, CA.
