Watched this stupid but entertaining horror movie based (very remotely, i believe) on a story written by Edgar Allan Poe.
It was directed by Gérard Kikoïne and the cast includes
Robert Vaughn, Karen Witter, Donald Pleasence, Ginger Lynn Allen and Nia Long.

The movie was made in 1988, released in 1990.
The plot is just crazy but i have to say that it´s never boring.
You can see some cool camera work and nice death scenes in this movie.

Karen Witter looks stunning, she was the Playboy Playmate of the Month March 1982.
Pleasence walks through the scenes and mumbles his lines.
Vaughn is Vaughn, always the same expression on his face if you ask me [Smile]

Pretty girls, lots of flies and ants, breathing brick walls and a killer who wears a Reagan mask.
Total 80s madness [Cool]

Watched another movie called Buried Alive, made in 1990.
This one was actually a made-for-tv flick but it was a good one.

Directed by Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Mist)
and starring Tim Matheson (Up the Creek, Fletch) Jennifer Jason Leigh, William Atherton and always cool Hoyt Axton.

"Clint is an every day working man whose wife Joanna is having an affair with a doctor.
They plot to kill him and get the insurance money.
Only trouble the drug overdose they give him doesn't kill him.
Lucky for Clint he's buried in a cheap wooden box and he unburies himself.
Just remember, Hell hath no fury like a man buried alive! (IMDb)

This looks and feels like a very well made long Twilight Zone episode.
The cast is good and i really like the screenplay.

Buried Alive was a cool, Stephen King style thriller: Jennifer Jason Leigh stole the show. There was even a sequel with Alley Sheedy. Both B-movies to be honest, but crazy fun nonetheless.
