i'm not a big fan of stefani as a solo artist. i really liked the music she made with no doubt in their early days - including their album tragic kingdom.
i don't care for their later songs like HEY BABY and HELLA GOOD. *gag*

but i think she has a raw talent and i adore her handbag line [Smile]

I loved Tragic Kingdom when it first came out. I still think it's not bad. Everything after is just OK IMO.

I absolutely HATE GWEN STEFANI's solo stuff! My 9 year old daughter likes stuff like Rich Girl and Hollaback girl. It just makes me wanna open a vein.

The only NO DOUBT songs I like are Dont Speak and Hella Good.

I guess Gwen was going for a Madonna-like vibe for Don't speak. I like the earlier more ska-oriented stuff she did, I never could get into the whole diva/japanese girls schtick. I didn't mind the Talk Talk cover.

No Doubt is my favorite band. I absolutely love them! I don't really love Gwen's solo stuff though. Their earlier albums, Beacon Street Collection and Tragic Kingdom are great, but my favorite is the follow up to Tragic Kingdom, which was Return of Saturn. Hence my screen name.

"Sik" (meaning good, apparently) track, its my favourite 'No Doubt' song by a country mile, didn't mind Hey Baby and I can't listen to Hella Good after that South Park episode where Cartman uses the term to death.

I always thought Bran Van 3000 could've been the new No Doubt.

No Doubt are one of my favorite bands. I really liked Gwen's first solo record. The second one was mediocre at best. Some of my fav ND songs are:

2. New Friend (outtake from Hey Baby)

Saturnchick, I meant 'Don't Speak' is a sik track, "sik" means good, its one of those annoying street-venacular terms like hellagood or whassup used to be. Almost wish I hadn't said it now [Embarrassed]
