This movie is from about 1998 I think and its about a youn teen girl from I think new york who goes back to italy for summer vacacion to a beautiful mansion in the countyside where she meets a italian boy and its just a pure summer romance which leads upto them making love under a huge olive tree. She is of a rich background and he is of a more humble origin and then if I remember , she goes back to new york. Basicly its a summer first time romance filmed in the beautiful italian countryside with country mansions and olive groves......please help me with the name??...Thanks

Thanks ,but thats not it. The girl in the film is only about 16. It was a real romantic first time romantic encounters of a young girl in a foreign country theme....filmed in italy.

yes, jess, it has liv tyler. her mug happens to be right on the cover of the movie box. for working at a video store for years... i remember what way too many coverboxes look like for movies i have never seen.
