It came out in 1990...but feels like the 80's...I have been watching pieces of it on AMC right now, but I have never watched the whole thing...but Michael Beihn, Bill Paxton and Rich Rossovich are all in it, and all of them were in Terminator together.
Don't you think it is cool when you see the same group of people in different movies.??

This was one of my favorite movies of the 90s suprisingly enough. Wasn't Charlie Sheen in it as well? Alot of Adam Sandler's movies tend to have the same groups of people in them as well. It's nice to see that Sandler doesn't forget his friends...

I thought this movie sucked balls in terms of its characterisation, plot, acting, dialogue and…well, does there really have to be another reason? ‘NS’ was the low point of Charlie Sheen’s career: from ‘Platoon’ to this in five years. Not even a gun totting Joanne Whaley Kilmer could alleviate the tedium of having to endure a movie this bad, had it been any worse; it would’ve been good.
"They never rent quality flicks. They always pick the most intellectually devoid film on the rack." "OOH! Navy Seals!" - Randal and customer, ‘Clerks’.
I also like the recurring team of actors thing; Paul Thomas Anderson does this a lot (‘Hard 8’, ‘Boogie Nights’ & ‘’Magnolia’) as does Kevin Smith.

Very poor movie. Hated it sooo much. You wanna see Michael Biehn play a Navy Seal? Then watch The Rock!!!
Noms
ps As far as the same people in the same movies, check out the whole Will Ferrell / Vince Vaugh / Wilson Brothers thing...gets a little tiresome after a while.
