Okay 2001, but you know this is the most appropriate place for it. Since I have been into horror type pics lately I decided to talk about this one. Has anyone seen it?
It stars Nicole Kidman and Fionolla Flanaghan. It is set in the 1940's in England around the time of the war. I can't really discuss to much about the film other than to say that it is a supernatural kind of thriller. If I say to much more it will give stuff away.
Anyone who has seen this feel free to talk about it.

This movie came out right when 9-11 happened...because my birthday is 9-9, and my anniversary is 9-12, and we had planned on going to see it, and then all that happened.... and I just felt so weird...and our friends were planning on watching my son, so we could go for our anniversary to the movies, so we ended up going to see it..even though we were leary about going, and it was so freaky...there must have been all old people from the nursing home that were there that night, cause there were old people on the end of every aisle, mostly in wheelchairs, and it was kind of eerie feeling.
I remember feeling so freaked out because of 9-11, and then the movie was creepy, and then all the people were kind of creepy at the theater. I remember getting up to leave the theater and I put my hand in my jacket pocket, and I felt something in my pocket, and I pulled it out, and it was a necklace with a cross on it...and I knew it wasn't mine, and it freaked me out...cause I wasn't sure how it got in my pocket, and then I realized it was my mother's...she must have borrowed my coat..and put it in there...but it just was another creepy thing.....or maybe that movie just totally creeped me out so bad...that every little thing seemed stranger than it really was.
But...I actually like this movie, even though it is so creepy. I was actually surprised at the end, it was definately different, and I liked that about it...the kids in it were really good, and played their parts well.

The others was one awesome movie. Nothing spectacular or bloody, but the atmosphere was indeed creepy and the acting superb. I loved it.
Isis, your memory of things surprises me every time again.

Just goes to show you that a good thriller or spooky horror flick doesn't have to be bloody and can still be very scary!
