While ordering TOMBOY (Betsey Russell) and RICH GIRL (Jill Schoelen) I somehow fluked into finding a movie called JERSEY GIRL starring Jamie Gertz. (Not to be confused with JERSEY GIRL starring jacka** Ben Affleck). Has anyone seen this one? I have it and am gonna try to watch it some time this week.

Jackass Ben Affleck that's funny. I have seen the one with Jami Gertz in it and it is better than the one with Ben Afflec in it. It's about Jami Gertz and Dylan McDermott. He's rich and she's not. She doesn't want a guy that is broke. She wants one that is rich. She runs her car into his nice expensive car and gives him her number hoping that he will call her and ask her out.

I have this one taped on a VHS somewhere....Jami Gertz is great.....Why I wonder how there can be two movies with the same title.....??? you know? Why can they just put the date by it and it's ok....that or Jersey Girl(starring jackass Ben Affleck AKA Bennifer) haha

Yeah, I stumbled across this one too a while back and decided to rent it with the hopes that it would be good. It really wasn't and I'm a Jami Gertz fan so there you have it. Stick to Less Than Zero or Lost Boys if you want Jami flicks. This one is a bomb (in the bad sense of the word).

I thought that also when the new JERSEY GIRL came out. It only came out about ten years after the other JERSEY GIRL. Does this mean I can make a movie called CASABLANCA (2005) and get away with it?????

Yeah, just do like they did with Jersey Girl and make it totally different from the original so it's nothing like it. But I liked the one with Jamie Gertz, and that Ben Affleck gets on my nerves kinda. He used to be a better actor than he is now. I don't know what happened to him.

There are 4 movies called Chicago. I'm sure I don't have to remind you of Castaway, made in 1986. There are six movies called The Mummy. Based on that, I think it's okay to forgive an independent movie-maker for making his movie about a single man taking care of his daughter, despite it having the same name as another small movie about a girl falling in love.

huge gasp i love Jersey Girl, I happened upon it late one night on tv and watched it. I never looked back, I love it now. it's an instant classic. Doomy oh yeah, ben asslick sucks
