I was reminiscing with una buena amiga of mine, and we were talking about some of the things we had done as youngsters in the 90's. Some of them were really dumb, and very amusing. One time, my sister, our three neighborhood friends, and myself were in a constructive mood, and my sister (the oldest, and so, the self-appointed ringleader) decided that it would be a marvelous idea to make tepees- Now here I must explain that my dad had been pruning our tree, and so we had lots of sticks and branches lying on the ground- so we gathered the largest and the longest of the bracnches, tied them together at the top with pink yarn, and covered them with a sheet. Voila-tepees! Well, apparently tepees weren't enough, so we also took some shorter branches with a slight curve in them, tied the pink yarn to their ends, and made "bows," with sticks as "arrows". Unfortunately, the bows were almost completely straight, and the yarn wasn't at all stretchy, so when we would "shoot" the "arrows," they would go maybe thre inches, and then topple to the ground. But we loved it! Ah, to be young again (sigh).... Anyone else got a good, 90's moment of simplicity to share?

I wish I could share a simplistic story of the '90s but I was all growed up & raising kids throughout. I guess having a 9-pound baby on 8/13/92 doesn't count much for an interesting story.
In time you'll learn that rewinders span the ages, anywhere from teens to aging hipsters such as myself, Sam Hain, StevenHW.
