Just watched it a few nights ago, felt like an Afterschool Special. Had Jason Robards in it. Anyone remember it?

I saw THWACT on DVD years ago; yes, this did remind me of a made-for-TV after-school special. I'm not usually into films that "tug on the heartstrings", but this did that for me. The reconciliation the Jason Robards character had with his daughter (towards the end of the film) was very touching.
I guess the film is relatable for me to some extent as well. I.e., as I've gotten older, I've especially realized how important family really is. And, my family lives a distance away so I never really see them except for the holidays.
