I thinks its a 70;s movie, It is set in the country and the only part I remember seeing is when the movie starts out with the sheriff is having an afair with the nurse of a nursing home or hospital. The two catch her daughter making out with her boyfriend. I saw this movie on HBO back in the seventies, never caught the name of the movie or the actors

It is called Black Oak Conspiracy (1977) A good guy fights a corrupt sheriff and mine operator.
