Hello everyone - I am new here. I think this movie was made in 1970's. Maggie Smith played the woman and George (?) played the man. They have an affair and then he decides to end it. I believe it is played in England. I really enjoyed it at the time and saw it numerous times but cannot remember the name.

She did a lot of those BBC and ITV Plays-of-the-Week, perhaps it was one of those?
