It was their only hit here stateside. Reached #3 back in April of 1975.
Their lead vocalist was Paul Carrack who eventually was the lead singer in Squeeze for a short time and also in Mike + The Mechanics.

For years I thought this song was done by HALL AND OATS, hahaha
The funny thing about this song is a lot of people would assume its a guy asking his girlfriend "How Long Has This Been Going On?", meaning how long has she been cheating on him, when actually the song is about one of the guys in the band "cheating" on ACE by playing with another band that he eventually "left them" for!
