It started out with a guy in a canoe and he finds this totem pole and it gives him special powers. However when he sees the color red he loses his power. I'm pretty sure its from the mid to late 70's. There were scenes of him walking on water, breaking out of jail to escape from being electocuted.
Any help would be appreciated.
