Yup, it always made me cry.

I dont think I've evr made it through a viewing without crying on some level. Its been awhile since I've seen it so I bought it for my daughter. I cryed til my face hurt! (which has only happened about twice in my life). And Im not talking about just the death scene....there are a few parts where I cryed.

If you're referring to the cartoon version of this with Debbie Reynolds doing Charlotte's voice, I didn't like it.
I am a purist when it comes to books and this movie just didn't do it for me. This is one of those books that rips your heart out when you're a young girl and the goofy cartoon bastardized a beautiful tale...IMHO.

I agree with that, but it does depend on when you saw it. I saw the cartoon when I was very young and I loved it, but I saw it again a few years later and thought it was terrible.
But the book's great whatever age you are, and it's the book I always think of whenever anyone mentions Charlotte's Web.

I saw the movie before I read the book and I dont really remember them being that different from eachother ( I was a little kid though....so maybe Im wrong here). Obviously the quality of the art now doesnt appear so great that Im a grown up,but I look past the bad art and just enjoy the story.
