Wacko is a fun horror film parody directed by Greydon Clark (Joysticks, Without Warning etc.)
It was written by Dana Olsen ( Going Berserk, The ´Burbs), Michael Spound, and the great duo
Jim Kouf/David Greenwalt ( Secret Admirer, Class etc.)

The cast is also amazing:

Joe Don Baker is fantastic as detective D1ck Harbinger who hasn´t slept for 13 years.
George Kennedy is Doctor Graves who never got a degree, his first name just happens to be Doctor [Smile]
Stella Stevens is his wife Mrs. Doctor Graves and Julia Duffy his daughter Mary Graves.
Scott McGinnis (Joysticks, Secret Admirer, Thunder Alley) is Mary´s boyfriend Norman Bates and
Elizabeth Daily and Michele Tobin her friends Bambi and Rosie.
Andrew Dice Clay plays Tony Schlongini in his feature film debut.

The jokes are nonstop and of course it helps if you have seen movies like
Alien, Psycho, Omen, Carrie, Halloween, Exorcist, Prom Night etc.

There´s a cool band called Avalon (featuring Rick Neigher) playing at the Prom.
They play four cool tunes which was also released on EP but that´s ultra rare stuff nowadays.

Any Wacko fans here? [Big Grin]

Atomik, I own it on vhs. Not a lot to offer but I did see the humor in it.

Wacko is definitely good for a laugh but need to check it out again,I have the budget Pegasus UK DVD which looks a bit like a vhs rip,I do vaguely remember a scene which made me laugh a lot with Scott McGinnis sat at a dinning room table and it's a spoof of psycho and he's got his dead mother next to him and he's controlling her movements ala weekend at Bernie's and doing her speech, really funny scene,Wish I could find it on youtube.

I liked wacko, for me it's one of those movies that is so bonkers you can't help but laugh at it,there are some genuinely funny moments throughout.

Great fun.
