It´s a classic called Zaxxon. I remember playing it on C64.

I remember it being pretty good, I'm just waiting for the Blu-ray release, although you can pick it up on DVD for a reasonable price...

Believe it or not atomik, zaxxon is what my 1st thought was but was not sure. But I knew someone on here would know. Loved that game. Yeah Dolenz, it had some pretty funny stuff. The 1 liner I liked was when the good guy stole the diesel and the cop pulled him over and said something like "Your hose is hanging out back there" followed by "Are you gonna arrest me for indecent exposure?" This was a previous topic started by someone else but apparently got deleted the other day probably cause all the darn spam.

Recently re-watched "The Stuff" - hilarious horror comedy about a yogurt/ice-cream like substance called "The Stuff" that ended up being discovered in a landfill somewhere, and then was marketed all over the country/world.
It ended up being an addictive substance that took over people's minds/bodies, somewhat like "Invasion of the Body Snatchers".
Very funny film - numerous scenes made me laugh out loud, especially the obvious social commentary re: consumerism in the U.S. - which is even more prevalent today than it was in the '80's.
