"Three women start a lunch wagon business but run into stiff resistance from their competitor Mr. Schmeckler: their presence is interfering with some sort of illegal activity he's involved in. While Schmeckler busies himself trying to sabotage their wagon, the women are busy falling in love with construction guys and rock musicians. Two bumbling diamond thieves create complications for both sides." (IMDb)
Oh yeah, what a fantastic feelgood sex comedy! Lunch Wagon was directed by Ernest Pintoff and stars Pamela Jean Bryant (Playmate of the Month in the April, 1978 and appeared in movies like H.O.T.S., Don't Answer the Phone! and Lovely But Deadly) Rosanne Katon (Playboy Playmate of the Month September 1978. Had roles in The Swinging Cheerleaders and Coach and small roles in Zapped and Bachelor Party) Candy Moore (Too bad she didn´t make more movies)
There´s also a band called Teddy and the Ruff Riders which is of course Missing Persons (the band was called U.S. Drags when the film was released). They perform two classic tunes Mental Hopscotch amd I Like Boys.
You can also hear other cool tunes on the soundtrack.
Mickey mouse phone, Evel Knievel pinball, lots of T&A and magical early 80s feel! Highly Recommended!
Lunch Wagon was called Playboy Girls here in Finland

Just found out that Candy Moore posed for The Cars' 1979 album cover, Candy-O. Completely hand-drawn by Alberto Vargas.

I was a huge Missing Persons (and T&A movie) fan back then so I had to see this. Once again I snuck into it as I was only 15 in 1981 and they wouldn't sell me a ticket. This movie did not disappoint! LOL
