i am trying to find the name of a film that was out when i was a kid,the film was on tv in the late 70s early 80s,it was on uk tv,dont know if it was a made for tv movie or cinema release,i think it was an american film, could be british but i am sure it was american. what i can remember of the film was it was a stormy night and there was a young couple driving in an old car in the rain and they stop of at this hotel or mansion and there was probably more guests arriving during the night,the main plot of the film was that the cook or house keeper whatever she was was trying to kill the guests,she was a big white hefty woman with dark hair to the top of her neck all the same lenght and she had thin set eyes i think she wore a red jumper or cardigan but not 100% sure,im pretty sure you saw her with a meat cleaver sometimes,the film reminded me of a murder by death/clue type film a sort of dark comedy,can someone please put me out of my misery and possibly tell me the name of the film, thanks.

Sounds like a mix between The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Clue. Tim Curry happens to be in both of them and Lesley Ann Warren looks a lot like Susan Sarandon...
