This morning, there were news reports on the death of Bruce Reynolds, who masterminded the 1963 Great Train Robbery in England. The incident was later recalled (in part) in an 80's movie that, to my knowledge, has never been discussed here on the Rewind, nor is there a webpage on the "Browse 80's Movies" list.
So, on that note, here's today's misbefotten 80's movie: "Buster" (1988), starring Phil Collins and Julie Walters.
Has anyone seen it? I recently saw it on TV, and thought it was pretty decent, though unmemorable.

i originally watched this in the theatres with a group of my mates when it was first released here in the u.k many moons ago,i was 15 at the time,i haven't ever watched it since even though it's been on uk television numerous times.
i can remember thinking it was a pretty good watch overall with the first half of the movie with the staging of the robbery and then the proceeding arrests having me glued to the cinema screen.
do remember phill collins giving a good turn as buster edwards and even though i've never been a big fan of julie walters i also thought she was fine as busters wife june.
i seriously need to check buster out again, hadn't thought about this movie for quite sometime, infact i'm going to add it straight away to my online rental lists.
so if my memory serves me right i thought it also a pretty decent movie.
