"A female engineer, with the assistance of her pilot-wannabe male friend, discovers a way to rip off ATM machines, but in doing so stumbles upon a plot to destroy the U.S. monetary system." (IMDb)
Montgomery and Hudson were great. I liked the fact that Hudson´s character was an independent woman, not taking crap from anyone. All the older people were either stupid or plain evil except Montgomery´s flight instructor and the other bureau fella.
I loved the old school computers, floppy discs, Atari 800... great stuff! I also enjoyed the solid score, composed by Phil Marshall.
If you like War Games, The Manhattan Project and stuff like that, i recommend this film for you.
just watched the trailer atomik and it don't look to bad,it looks daft but it also looks pretty entertaining.
i can remember it coming out back in the mid 80s,never got round to seeing it though. i'll have to try and check it out.
the guys voice over on the trailer is classic " the whole country is on the brink of dooooom and time is running out" & "prime risk makes war games seem like kids stuff".
