I was looking into various '80s movies about video games; you know, like The Wizard with Fred Savage, Tron, WarGames, Cloak and Dagger...
And I ran across "The Bishop of Battle" on Youtube. Have you seen it? It's from the horror anthology film Nightmares, released in 1983.
Stars Emilio Estevez as a hotshot gamer who is addicted to the arcade game Bishop of Battle, and must avoid falling prey to the game when it comes to life one night.
Pretty good show! I want to finish up the whole movie sometime. I have seen Twilight Zone: the Movie and Tales from the Darkside, among other anthology films, and they are usually my favorite kind of horror film.
Oh, and the Creepshow series, I have seen, too.

yeh i've seen nightmares and "the bishop of battle" is definitely the strongest segment on there, the other 3 stories are ok but a bit of a mixed bag overall, but yeh i'd say it's a likeable enough horror anthology.
a couple more anthology horrors you might like - after midnight,campfire tales,creepshow 1&2,cat' eyes,trick r treat,the offspring aka from a whisper to a scream,tales from the hood,body bags.
