I have been going crazy for about 5 years trying to come up with the title of this movie....

Mid to late 80's teen movie. young guy takes a girl on a date (prom?) and they wind up lost in the city. she come up missing (taken by a pimp maybe or gang leader)he goes searching for her and meets a woman wearing his dates white dress and i think she helps him. he finds her and happy ending.
