Greetings!

After scouring the net with tidbits of difficult to search info, you guys may be the last shot at saving my sanity.

The movie I am looking for was set a metro in the late 70's or early 80's. Kind of a vendetta theme. A highly trained Vietnamese assassin has come to the US and is hunting down a Special Forces Team one by one. The movie involves two cops trying to track down the murderer, and our hero, a blondish guy with the Shawn Cassidy part in the middle.

The hero ends up hunting the hunter and kills him off in an epic nightime cat and mouse battle, First Blood style.

I know it's vague. Ring any bells?

pleased to have been of help analogy man,as soon as i read your description search and destroy came to mind.

at least you now know the name of the movie,it's available on a region 1 (u.s)dvd as a double feature with another late 70s movie called the glove.

here in the uk i've seen it selling for about £8 on amazon uk,not sure how much it sells for elsewhere.
